Grading Policy

1.  A bit of advice: Attendance is not mandatory, but game theory and economics, while of great practical importance, is a very difficult intellectual pursuit.  With that in mind, you must try to come to every class and work with the material a little every day.

2.  Class participation.  There will be no explicit scoring for class participation.  In my experience participating in class and doing well on exams are jointly determined.

3.  There will be homework assignments during the semester.  These will not be submitted for grades.  You are advised to try to do as many of them as you can.  If you get stumped then bring them to class and ask about them.  Again, doing homework and doing well on exams seem to be jointly determined.

4.  There will be 2 midterms and a final.  These will be closed book exams. The final will not be cumulative.

5.  Your grade will be determined as follows:

Homework 25 %
2 Midterm Exams 50%
Final 25%

7.  There are no make-up exams.
